City Commission

The City Commission is the governing body of Truth or Consequences, responsible for setting policy, adopting ordinances, approving the budget, and ensuring municipal operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. The five-member elected Commission works with all city departments to guide infrastructure, economic development, and public services.

Meetings
The Commission meets at 9 AM on the second Wednesday and 4 PM on the fourth Wednesday each month in the Commission Chambers, located at 405 West Third Street. Special meetings and workshops are scheduled as needed and regular meeting dates and times are subject to change.

Residents are encouraged to attend meetings, stay informed, and share feedback.
