Biography

Commissioner Chaz Glines serves on the Truth or Consequences City Commission representing Position III. A lifelong Sierra County resident, Glines comes from a family with deep roots in the community and a longstanding connection to the people and traditions of Truth or Consequences.

Through his work in the local hospitality industry, Glines has spent years serving both residents and visitors, developing a strong appreciation for the community's unique character and the important role tourism plays in the local economy. His experience working directly with the public has provided valuable insight into the needs of residents, local businesses, and visitors alike.

As a City Commissioner, Glines is committed to preserving the qualities that make Truth or Consequences a special place to live while supporting responsible growth, economic opportunity, outdoor recreation, and community development. He believes local government works best when residents are engaged, informed, and involved in shaping the future of their community.
