Biography

Commissioner Amanda Forrister is a lifelong Sierra County resident who is deeply committed to her community and the families who call Truth or Consequences home. Through years of volunteer service, she has been actively involved with local schools, youth programs, and 4-H activities, helping support opportunities for young people throughout the area.

As a member of the Truth or Consequences City Commission, Forrister is dedicated to preserving the community's small-town character while supporting initiatives that improve quality of life for residents. She values collaboration, community engagement, and practical solutions that benefit local families.

Forrister brings a strong understanding of the community's history, strengths, and challenges. Her focus on service, education, and youth development reflects her belief that investing in future generations helps build a stronger community for everyone.
