Solid Waste & Recycling
The Sanitation Division of Truth or Consequences is responsible for the collection and disposal of solid waste throughout the city. Operating a dedicated fleet of trucks, the division ensures timely and efficient service by regularly emptying poly carts and dumpsters placed across residential and commercial areas. Through its Recycling & Waste Collection Center, the city provides essential waste management services that help maintain cleanliness, public health, and environmental responsibility for the community.

Effective July 1, 2022
The Recycling & Waste Collection Center is no longer accepting plastics or glass for recycling. Additionally, recycle trailers will no longer be placed downtown. All recyclable materials must now be dropped off directly at the Recycling Facility.
