The first Fiesta was held to celebrate the city’s new identity and to welcome radio host Ralph Edwards back for the anniversary broadcasts of his show.Over the years, Fiesta evolved from a name‑day celebration into a beloved community festival. Generations of families have participated in the parade, volunteered with local organizations, and returned home each spring to reconnect with friends and neighbors.
